IFC’s “Portlandia” shoots at Blazers practice facility

Upon arrival at the practice facility on Tuesday, something was different with trailers all over. IFC’s sketch comedy show set in Portland, “Portlandia,” was filming at today’s practice in Tualatin.

The Trail Blazers requested media upon arrival to not report that the show was being filmed there today. The show’s stars Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstien could be seen talking with players after they finished practice. However, the silence on the Portlandia shoot was broken by Blazers owner Paul Allen.

LaMarcus Aldridge, who has acted on the show before, also got in on the social media fun. Here is a picture that he tweeted with Armisen and Brownstein.

There are no details about how the Trail Blazers will be featured or when the episode featuring the team will air. According to the show’s website, season four of the show will air in “early 2014.”
