It's good to be mayor

It was all pretty girls, cigars and exotic cars at Erik Runyan Jewelers’ Men’s Night 2010.

And by the looks of it, Battle Ground Mayor Mike Ciraulo and Vancouver Mayor Tim Leavitt enjoyed a night with the guys – and girls.

The event, which was held Dec. 1, was coined as an opportunity to do holiday shopping “while enjoying fast cars, catered food and drinks, cigars and a night that you will be sure to enjoy.”

Cups runneth over with Grey Goose vodka as the men shopped for diamonds for their lovely ladies at home.

But what happens in Vegas, er, Vancouver, gets posted on the Internet.

This photo of Ciraulo attracted comments from Battle Ground planning commission member Adrian Cortes.

“WOW!” he wrote. “That is an amazing car!”

No word yet on what Mrs. Mayor Ciraulo received for Christmas, but let’s hope it came in a small velvet box.
