The Seattle Times wrote a great story about Sen. Don Benton’s involvement with the Trump campaign and how our local senator has the GOP presidential candidate’s ear “to an unusual degree.”
Here’s a highlight: Benton flew with Trump in between Washington state rallies and the two spent 40 minutes together and shared a meal at McDonald’s. Trump had a Big Mac and Benton had a Filet-O-Fish.
